Asintótico, or asymptotic in English, refers to a line that approaches a curve indefinitely without ever touching it. The video takes this mathematical figure as a way to think about urban coexistence: realities that live side by side, compressed within the same block, yet never fully meet.

Filmed during the pandemic, the work observes a gentrifying neighbourhood shaped by real estate speculation, isolation, and proximity without contact. It asks whether awareness of the other might slow down, process, or even revert the transformations imposed on urban space.
